JOT SAHI is a production assistant at Multitude Films and a recent graduate of the undergrad film program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Originally from Indianapolis, her first brush with filmmaking began as a junior in high school, when she made a short documentary on female feticide in Punjab, India, which went on to win the 2015 Global Impact Award at the Girls Impact the World Film Festival. From then on, she has aimed to tell stories that have the potential to make a community impact. At NYU, she concentrated in screenwriting, documentary filmmaking, and producing, along with obtaining a minor in art history. She was heavily involved with the Fusion Film Festival, a festival dedicated to showcasing the work of female student filmmakers, where she also was a finalist for their Docs in the Works Pitch Competition. Before joining Multitude Films, she was an Office PA at The Documentary Group and interned at Jigsaw Productions.
