WITH TIME

WITH TIME is a hybrid documentary that follows a group of trans individuals over fifty as they participate in a storytelling workshop, which provides a framework for each participant to explore self-inquiry during a time of cultural crisis. The film captures their creative process, pivotal moments in their lives beyond the workshop, and the final filming of their scripted scenes on staged sets.

the Team
Brit Fryer — Co-Director
Brit is a queer and trans filmmaker from Chicago. He has directed several films, including THE SCRIPT, which premiered at CPH: DOX before finding a home online with The New Yorker. His film, CARO COMES OUT, premiered on HBOMax. His work has been supported by the Sundance Ignite Fellowship, Creative Culture, the PBS Ignite Mentorship, and HBO/Gotham's Documentary Development Initiative.
Noah Schamus — Co-Director / Editor
Noah is a filmmaker of documentary and narrative films and an educator. Their first feature, SUMMER SOLSTICE, screened at festivals across the US and Europe and received a New York Times Critics' Pick before premiering theatrically at IFC Center in 2024. Their most recent hybrid documentary short, THE SCRIPT, can currently be seen online on The New Yorker and The Criterion Channel.
Jesse Miller — Producer
Jesse is an independent producer based in New York City. He produced the narrative feature film LAPSIS, feature documentary IN SILICO, and co-produced the award-winning documentary DEEP TIME. He was a co-producer on BETWEEN THE TEMPLES, produced Noah Schamus’s debut narrative feature, SUMMER SOLSTICE, and produced the feature documentary JOHN LILLY AND THE EARTH COINCIDENCE CONTROL OFFICE.
